Founding story
As a security engineer at Airbnb, our founder, Lizzy, was faced with the daunting task of cataloging and classifying hundreds of petabytes of data across dozens of platforms. With available products lacking the accuracy, flexibility and performance they needed, they developed a suite of data security tools in-house. Recognizing the opportunity to solve a critical problem in a growing market, she decided to set out as a founder and launch Teleskope, a modern and developer-friendly data security platform that combines precise visibility with automated remediation to help organizations proactively manage data sprawl while securely enabling AI adoption.
